Stainless steel wire mesh refers to the woven wire fabric made by weaving looms from first class stainless steel material in SUS/AISI 201, 202, 302, 304, 310, 310S, 316, 316L, etc. This page provides information on wire materials applied for weaving, properties, and specification of most popular specifications.
Wire Mesh Weaving IllustrationMajor Wire Materials and Introduction: Stainless steel AISI 304, 304 L, 316 and 316 L.
AISI 304: This type is the basic stainless alloy mostly commonly used for wire cloth/mesh weaving. It offers excellent property against rusting and oxidation.
AISI 304 L: Materials similar to 304, with reduced carbon content for better weaving.
AISI 316: Stainless stabilized by the addition of 2% molydbenum. It has better resistance to pitting corrosion than the other chromium-nickel stainless steels and high strength at elevated temperatures. Other mechanical properties and fabricating characteristics are similar to AISI304. Wire cloth woven of T-316 has extensive use in chemical processing when better corrosion resistance is required than the regular chromium-nickel types. AISI 316 L: Very similar to AISI316, yet with the reduced carbon content for better wire cloth weaving.Stainless steel wire mesh with its excellent resistance against acid, alkali, heat and corrosion, extensively used in processing of oil, chemical, food, making wire mesh filter, also sorting and screening of solid, liquid and gas in mine, metallurgy, airspace and machine making etc.
Plain Weave Wire Mesh Fabric, Featuring Maximum Square Opening and Minimum Thickness.
Plain Weave Pattern IllustrationWeaving Method: This is the most simple weaving type with each weft wire passing over one and under one warp wire, and each warp wire passing over one and under one weft wire. The weft wire has the same diameter with the warp wire. Among all woven wire products, Plain woven wire mesh has the maximum opening and the minimum thickness of the fabric.
The weaving of each warp wire going over and under the successive weft wires and vice versa ensuring the maximum of apertures and most accurate mesh openings.
Weaving Materials Applied: Stainless steel, monel, aluminum, brass, copper, galvanized steel, etc.
Features: Square aperture, high flow through, relative high open area as result of less pressure drop during filtration.
Uses: Stainless steel plain woven wire mesh is suitable for all kinds of filtration up to 63 µm.
Test Sieves Made with Stainless Steel Fine Woven Wire Cloth as Screening Media
Stainless steel sieves for lab testing and grading can be made with either woven wire cloth or micron perforated ss plate as sifting media. The frames for stainless sieves can be stainless steel or other metals.
Woven wire mesh sieves with precise opening are the most widely used test sieves for laboratory particle size analysis. Seamless frames ensure a precise fit and superior quality. They are made of the highest quality brass or stainless steel materials and are available in diameter sizes of 38, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 315, 350, 400 and 450 mm.
Sieve Handling:
Particles should never be forced through a stainless steel mesh sieve - even the gentle brushing of material through the finer meshes is undesirable, but this procedure is occasionally unavoidable for certain materials that are otherwise difficult to sieve.
Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh Can be Made into Special Test Sieves with Extra Depth for Construction and Cement Industries
Extra depth ss sieves are extensively used by the construction and cement industries. These test sieves with extra depth are available with a diameter size of 450 mm and a depth of 300 mm. Made from stainless steel with woven wire mesh or perforated sieving media.
SS Woven Mesh Sieves: Sizes, Frames and Aperture
Test sieve available in diameter 12', 8', 300mm and 75mm with stainless steel frames in all kinds of stainless steel wire cloth and copper mesh, nickle-plated, suitable for precision testing and sorting of abrasive.
300mm stainless wire mesh test sieve is produced by the standard ISO3310-2:1990. The aperture sizes are from 3.35mm to 0.038mm. The frames and covers of Mallas sieves are made of stainless steel while the wire cloth is in all kinds of material such as brass, bronze, stainless steel and copper.
75mm stainless steel test sieve is available in apertures sizes from 500 micro to 5 micro, with allowance +2 micro, in accordance with the standard ISO3310-3:1990. The wire mesh screen is electroformed, and its frames and covers are made of quality stainless steel.
It is mainly used for precise classification of the minute granule materials and it is widely used in metallurgy, abrasive, construction industries and research lab.
Note: We supply a wide range of stainless steel wire mesh sieves, mid-point sieve and mesh certified sieve used as sand sieves, grain sieves, laboratory testing sieves and sifting sieves. In addition to above, wire mesh test sieves for special purposes such as shaped holes, wet washing, mid-point style, very small openings and for use with specialized shakers or equipment are available.
Stainless Steel Dutch Woven Wire Mesh Filter Cloth
Professional Standard:
As professional weaver of stainless steel wire mesh and stainless steel wire cloth, We offers various grades of woven wire mesh and woven wire cloth in stainless steel, brass, copper and other metal materials. Our experienced technicians can produce a variety of woven patterns, Twill Weave, Plain Weave and Dutch Weave. In this page, we mainly introduce Dutch Woven Filter Cloth in Stainless Steel, Twill Dutch Weave(Professional Standard).
Twill Dutch Woven Wire Cloth is made with a combination of the Hollander Weave and the twill weave. This type enables a strong wire cloth with super fine filtration.
