Materials of Stainless Steel Dutch Woven Wire Mesh is divided into Type
302, Type 304, Type 304 L, Type 316 and Type 316 L. Stainless Steel offers
good wear-resistance, heat-resistance, acid-resistance and corrosion
resistance. Filter Mesh is also supplied in brass, mild steel, nickel, steel
or other metal materials also available at request. Mainly for filter and sieve
use.
Comparing of Dutch Twill Weave, Dutch Plain Weave
and Reverse Dutch Weave, from Physical Strength and Filter Properties:
Dutch Twill Woven Wire Mesh offers higher strength than regular Dutch woven wire cloth. It packs even more
wires in a given area than Dutch plain woven wire cloth. Generally, Dutch
Twill Woven Wire Cloth offers finer mesh counts and lower flow than Dutch
Plain Woven Mesh and can be made to filter particles as fine as 2 microns in
diameter.
Dutch Plain Wire Mesh is primarily used as
filter cloth. This kind of woven wire cloth has a coarser mesh and wire in the
warp direction and a finer mesh and wire in the weft direction. Dutch Plain
Woven Wire Mesh makes an ideal filter cloth with a very compact, firm mesh
with great strength.
Reverse Weave: The apparent
difference of reverse dutch weaving compared with standard dutch weave ( dutch
plain and dutch Twill) lies in the thicker warp wires and less weft wires.
Reverse dutch woven stainless steel wire cloth offers finer filtration and
finds popular application in petroleum, chemical, food, pharmacy and other
fields.
Comparing of Dutch Weave Patterns with Common Plain and Twilled
Weave:
Comparison of Common Plain Weave and Plain Dutch Weave:
Plain Dutch wire mesh offers better flow compared with
plain weave.
Comparing Common Twilled Weaving Pattern with Twilled Dutch
Weave:
Twilled dutch weave mesh offers a more dimensional
opening.
Features and Uses:
Dutch Wire Mesh Filter
Cloth excels in giving problem-free processing and is easily cleanable
with excellent durability. In addition to superior mechanical strength,
the Dutch Woven Wire Mesh possesses a higher beat stability than any
other material. It shows an extremely high resistance to physical and
chemical effects.
It is an ideal filter medium which can be easily worked and styled
using available techniques.
In addition to the socalled open wire weaves with square or rectangular
openings which can be woven down to a fineness of 20 ハm aperture, there
are many combinations of filter weaves with retention in the micron
range.
Woven wire cloth specifications are exact geometrical structures with
uniform porosity, in contrast to fibrous felts made from paper,
synthetic fibers or metal yarns.
Filter wire mesh of Dutch weaves made from metal wires
(stainless steel, brass and alloys) are used for separation of solids
and clear filtration of liquids, as in the cleaning of fuels or
hydraulic liquids, or in water treatment.
